Last week, JCCM was notified that the VA food pantry in Martinsburg was desperately in need of food. JCCM partnered with the VA and delivered 500 lbs. of food. We are very grateful for all veterans and their sacrifices as well as their families. We look forward to continuing our relationship with the VA.
Shelter Volunteers Needed: In our continuing efforts to assist those in need in our community, Jefferson County Community Ministries is currently recruiting volunteers for our Cold Weather Shelter season; which runs from October 31st, through April 30th, 2023. Volunteers watch over those in those in the shelter, each night, in a caring, and compassionate manner. […]
JCCM is hiring part-time assistant managers to operate the Emergency Cold-Weather Shelter from November through March. Work will begin in September 2022 and continue through the first week in April 2023 for end of season activities. Shift work will be required, and specific schedules will be worked out when the full team has been assembled. […]
